About the Artist
My name is Kahlia Chase and I am the owner and designer of Metta Weaving.
Art has been a huge part of my life for over 7 years now. Even though I am in my twenties, my journey has been a long one. I have a brain disorder that I have learned to live with. Through pain and suffering, I have also learned many things, one of them being empathy. I genuinely want to help people and make them feel better, and I am able to do a good portion of this through my artwork. I make very sentimental pieces for people all over the world, and nothing gives me more joy than to make others happy.
I consider myself a free spirit that enjoys travelling, backpacking, rockhounding, yoga, meditation, spirituality and wellness in general. Oh yea, and creating. I can’t get enough of it.
I also love plants, animals, the sky, the ocean. I love nature.
If you would like to learn more about my brain disorder and what lead to my symptoms, feel free to check out my blog about Chiari Malformation. Very interesting stuff.
Thank you for your interest in my handmade business.
Many blessings of Metta,
